Born in France, I studied hotel management before spending a couple of years in England, Ireland and Belgium.
In 2001, hubby and I settled close to the Loch Ness monster in the Highlands of Scotland, and soon, two children and about thirteen fish joined us.
I never seriously contemplated being an author, despite the numerous stories I wrote as a teen. It came with too many unknowns and not enough guarantees. So all my life, I followed the safe path of a conventional career.
Until last year, when the safety net ripped, and I realized that life was too short not to try and chase your dreams. Better try and fail than not try at all and regret it.
I am an avid reader and writer of romance. I intend to dip my toes in contemporary love stories after completion of the Spirits of Saoradh series.
Dramatic scenes are my favourite to work on, which is perhaps a reminiscence of those teenage years when every single ones of my stories had to end in epic tragedy (Shakespeare had nothing on me). Thankfully, these days, I veer towards the happy-ever-after finale set in a glorious orange and red sunset.
My literary influences are Simone St James and Stephen King. Yes, Stephen King, even though he’s not a romance writer, the vivid and tangible portrayal of his characters makes him my ultimate author. As for Simone St James, her original approach to paranormal romance has inspired me to no end.
Apart from writing, I love digital fantasy art, rock music, and anything out of the ordinary for me to discover. And fresh baked bread.
Especially fresh baked bread.
